Lately, I’ve been asking people to turn it around because I’ve found a lot of people (even some of our coaches) think they can just “be” and success will come to them, but I’ve never known anyone who has just sat around and been successful.
I think it can be easier to understand if you look at it from a “Have = Do X Be” perspective – meaning to HAVE what you want, you have to DO something and BE the person who takes action.
Action creates all kinds of momentum and opportunity – plus you get the wisdom of actually applying your knowledge and skills and learning from your mistakes. I agree you can never underestimate the power of “BE-ing” more … but you also can’t underestimate the power of actually DO-ing something.
