I started my own small cycle repair business two years ago. With a growing demand for this, I am not able to keep up- despite working for 14+ hours a day... I cannot afford to hire additional staff and it is becoming hard to pay the bills and keep the business running. This is now taking a toll on my personal life. If I increase prices, I will lose customers for sure. I find it difficult to abandon a business that has such high demand but looks like I just can’t keep up. What is your advice?

  30. Hey Brad, We have talked a time or 2 on FB. I work with Supercar Life, the driving experience in Vegas. I am working for them as an IC. My question for you is, I have been thinking of starting an Extreme Experience business. I am thinking of creating extreme weekend packages for groups and I am going to market it 100% on FB. VEGAS EXTREME! My plan is to create these extreme weekends. So, my first, if all works as planned, will be the end of Oct, early Nov. The guests would get here Fri night and check in to the hotel, They start the trip shooting machine guns Friday night. Early Saturday morning a bus would pick the group up (50 or so) and take them to the race track to drive the Supercars, then at noon or so they would head to skydive. Then back to hotel. Early Sun pick up, and off to sip line in Boulder city, then drop off at airport or hotel to pick up car. I am hoping to get the price point around $1000 per person based on dbl occupancy and I plan to market college towns, and all towns that Allegiant Air travels to from Vegas. The objective is to have an amazing 3 days for under $3K per couple (actually $2500), everything included. All extreme type of experiences. What do you think about the way I plan to market this? What do you think about the idea? Do you have any suggestions?

  42. For the last six years my wife and I have enjoyed an income well above what we could have earned working for someone else. Our customers love what we do. We have written a franchise agreement that we think is as success filled (for the franchisee) as our business is. Our franchise has all the benefits of real estate investing if not more. We know that our business can be successfully duplicated by others because we now have three other people in different parts of the country running businesses equally as successfully based on our model and using our products and systems. The problem is that we don’t seem to be able to sell a franchise. We spent ten thousand dollars having a marketing company prepare a campaign for us but I am now of the view that we would have had better value for money if we had thrown a ten thousand dollar party. We don’t have unlimited money to throw at this and even if we did there wouldn’t be any point we are in business to make money not spend it. We would be happy to have a partner take over the marketing and sales under some sort of business arrangement or we will keep trying ourselves, but where do we get a campaign that we know will work before we have to throw more money at it? The frustrating thing is that we know of a massive market opportunity that we are ready willing and able to share with others under an arrangement that is a win for us, a win for them and a win for the customers but no one seems to want to know. Is success out of fashion?

Hi Brad, I was at your Melb. Seminar. You were Fantastic. Brad I had a successful transport company which I started in 1996 and sold in 2007. We had enjoyed 40% growth per annum however the industry is labor & capital intensive. The great leverage aspect was I had 60 + drivers and we were making good money. Our last year's turnover was $5million. I started a removals business which did not go too well.It actually cost a lot of my networth. Both businesses grew at a rapid rate - Removals 3.6 million in 3 years. Today I am working for a wage and am happy not to have stress, however I long for great cashflow again. Towards the end as a business owner, most of my work was derived from the web (considering no work was from the web at inception) I embraced the web as the way to do business going forward. I see myself as a business builder & have a passion for the web. I would ideally like to be involved with internet marketing, seo, Lead generation, ADsense, affiliate marketing etc. My theory is I would like to make a $1 a day from 1000 sources rather than $1000 from one source. however I am lost. My problem is How to and when to start. I am a great believer in +ve thinking. I do know that what the mind can pecieve & believe it will achieve. I know I am going to achieve greatness - I need direction and advise as to the vehicle to achieve this success. What I would like to is to harness the power of the internet and work in global markets. I do create my own websites & blogs - I do know the power of viral marketing but do not know where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would like to send you an attachement as i have documented my notes from your seminar -came to 17 pages !!! - I think you will enjoy reading it. Congratulations on your success !! p.s. At the hieght of my success I had a porsche carrera 996 silver on black lowered with 20 inch rims. You have inspired my to have a fleet of cars - Where do I begin ? Shakeel TXTCORP International

  52. I have a friend who owns his own design and marketing business. It has been running since 2005, but has never really made much money. He employed another person to work for him earlier this year, but in recent times has had to let him go, as the business is not making enough money to support them both. He is now thinking that he will ave to give up the business. What advice do you have for my friend about owning your own business and what can you say encourage him to keep at it?

Brad, I did your weekend seminar 11 years ago on sales and marketing and have had great help ever since from your books and what I learnt, however after spending some $80K over the past 2 years trying to crack radio, I am at my wits end with it. I have been coached by 2 of your coaches for some 20 months and we are really struggling with an answer. We are the biggest plumbing company in South Auckland NZ and profiled very well after getting Master Plumber of the Year 2007, but still cant make radio work even though many convince us radio works for plumbing. I still question it, but also still continue to try new ads but nothing..... Can you please help us??? Somewhere in the world you must have made a radio ad for plumbing that works!

Brad I also have another question... We have put out for Regency Plumbing almost 2 million flyers now and our best response to date is 1.6 in 100. This according to your books is very low however as you state the key thing is you breakeven on cost. We actually do just scrape even on cost but would be great to see some decent returns. I'm sure you have also made a super duper flyer for plumbing somewhere in the world. I have made over 40 now and we always get the same response or worse... Can you help please?

  58. I have coached over 1,500 business owners personally, although very rewarding professionally and economically, I am frustrated, for I want to bring benefit to a much larger audience. I know conceptually how this might be accomplished with a business model, but I need more brainpower and resources to accomplish it. I am looking for a partner that has the same desires to help business owners be successful. Any thoughts as to how to identify such a partner? (Obviously you are on my short list)By the way I respect and appreciate the time it takes to answer all these questions!

  59. Brad Do you believe some people are made for business and others are not? Thanks Chris
